Phillipe Starck
One of the most highly respected contemporary designers in the world today. As well as receiving the highest recognition for his interior designs, he has also demonstrated his skill as a product architect and designer: creations such as the “La Marie” transparent chair and the “Juicy Salif” orange juicer have put him at the pinnacle of contemporary design. His works are exhibited in the best museums in Europe and America, among them, the Brooklyn Museum in New York, the Musée des Arts Decoratifs in Paris and the Design Museum in London. He has also organised exhibitions of his creations, either individually or with other artists, in Paris, Marseille, Rome, Munich, Kyoto, Tokyo, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. He has vast experience and many major brands look to his talent to launch new products on the market. Of particular note are the designs for Vuitton suitcases, Vitra office furniture, Glaciar bottles, as well as vehicles and computers, among other products.
The most famous consultant oenologist in the world, began his studies at the Agricultural Institute in Oisellerie in 1971 and obtained the oenologist diploma from the Faculty of Bourdeaux, before completing his studies in Libourne. He has advised over 100 estates in 12 different countries: South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Spain, France, Hungary, India, Italy, Morocco, and the USA. To these must be added the 500 French wine-growing estates that have used the services of Michel’s laboratory in Pomerol for sample analysis or advice.
